Annie Ross of LHR fame has a warm and engaging voice, combine that voice with a great sax player and you have the makings of something special! Sing a Song of Mulligan is a great CD from start to finish. I never found the need to skip songs or to change to something different as I have been known to do.

This 2009 CD contains French composer and pianist Michel Legrand 's album Legrand Jazz (1958) in its entirety, featuring his first recorded collaboration with Miles Davis. As a bonus, the trumpeter's complete original suite for the soundtrack to the French film Ascenseur pour l'‚chafaud has been added.

2009 digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of complete original albums by Benny Golson. Benny Golson And The Philadelphians is a splendid quintet date featuring the great Lee Morgan. Take A Number From 1 To 10 was a kind of experiment, that begins with Golson playing alone on the first track, and adding a musician to each successive track.

This release contains two outstanding consecutive albums in their entirety presenting Milt Jackson in the company of jazz stars such as Coleman Hawkins, Benny Golson, Art Farmer and Kenny Burrell. Tommy Flanagan is the pianist and Connie Kay is the drummer throughout all of these swinging tracks.
