Small Town Super Jazz

Documented at the end of their first tour, this is the first set of material recorded at their Bimhuis show on March 19th, 2008. The musicians began each concert as a duo (guitars or drums/reeds), then would continue as a quartet.

Smalltown Superjazz is proud to release the second album from the godfather of European free-jazz, Peter Brötzmann and Norwegian virtuoso Paal Nilssen-Love. This is the follow-up to ‘Sweet Sweat’ from 2007. ‘Woodcuts’ is another free jazz mastodon from the two masters. This is European free-jazz at its best. Recorded live in concert at Kampen in Oslo, Norway.
